Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace
Why do this course?
Workplace bullying and harassment are psychosocial hazards, the risks of which need to be managed like any other hazard at the workplace. All PCBUs, regardless of size, have a duty under section 19 of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011 to provide a safe and healthy workplace and to manage psychosocial hazards and risks under Clauses 55a-55d of the WHS Regulation 2017. It is the Officers of the PCBU who may be personally liable for a breach and must proactively ensure that all workplace risks and hazards are managed through the hierarchy of the management and supervisory team.
